Allegations
The case centred on a pharmacy technician who misused a disabled parking blue badge issued to his father, who had passed away prior to the events in question. Between April and August 2016, while employed by a hospital trust, the registrant used the badge on multiple occasions to access hospital staff parking without payment and to park in disabled spaces. This fraudulent use constituted dishonesty as the badge was not valid for use following his father’s death, and the registrant was neither transporting a disabled individual nor entitled to use the badge under any circumstances.
