Case Summary

Allegations

The case concerns a pharmacist who was subject to serious allegations involving both personal misconduct and professional dishonesty. The first set of allegations involved a pattern of sustained harassment against a former pharmacy colleague, Person A, during a period in March 2022. Over just two days, the registrant bombarded Person A with over 100 phone calls and more than 680 messages. Many of these were violent, profane, and deeply inappropriate, with some including racial and sexist abuse.

The second set of allegations pertained to the registrant’s work as a locum pharmacist at Rowlands Pharmacy, Addenbrookes Hospital, where he dishonestly claimed payment for hours he did not work. These claims, made during October and November 2021, involved inflating hours worked, often submitting claims for full 10-hour shifts while working substantially less. Despite repaying the £1,800 in overclaimed wages, the issue was escalated to the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
