Pharmacist Suspended for Theft and Dishonesty at Boots Store

The misconduct was discovered through CCTV footage and an internal investigation by Boots. The registrant admitted to the thefts during an interview and expressed remorse for her actions. The Committee determined that the registrant’s fitness to practise was impaired due to repeated acts of dishonesty, which breached the fundamental principles of honesty and trustworthiness expected of pharmacy professionals. As a result, the registrant was suspended for six months. The Committee emphasized the importance of upholding professional standards and public confidence in the pharmacy profession.
